Robin Boogaerts

Nurse, prehospital care (lead), IT & data-driven problem solver

I help organisations in healthcare and prehospital care work smarter: from the ambulance floor to the boardroom, and from Excel sheets to production-ready software. As a nurse with a background in applied informatics, I bridge the gap between clinical practice, operations, and IT.

What I do

I combine hands-on healthcare experience with IT and data skills to help teams work safely, efficiently and with more focus on patient care.

Prehospital & ambulance care

Support for ambulance and prehospital teams: from daily operations on the ambulance to designing clear procedures, on-call structures and safe workflows.

Occupational health & nursing

Freelance nurse for occupational health services, with experience in corporate health (Global Health Services) and hospital settings (emergency department and paediatrics).

Data & process optimisation

Building and improving data-driven workflows with tools like Excel, Power BI and (SQL) databases. I translate questions from the field into dashboards, metrics and concrete actions to optimize workflows.

Training & first aid education

Teaching first aid and prehospital care in an accessible way, tailored to the audience. Clear language, real-life examples and a focus on what really matters on scene.

Why work with me

I understand what happens at the bedside, in the ambulance and in the meeting room – and I can translate between them. That makes me a useful bridge between healthcare professionals, management and IT.

  • Hands-on nurse with experience in prehospital, emergency, and pediatric care.
  • Comfortable with data, dashboards and (SQL) databases – not afraid of code.
  • Experience in leading and supporting teams in prehospital settings.
  • Able to translate complex needs into clear language, concrete actions and IT requirements.
